On Sunday 25th May 2014 family, friends and ringers gathered at Radyr Golf Club to celebrate Trevor Lewis' 80th Birthday. Everyone had known about the event for months.....
......everyone except Trevor, of course. Sworn to secrecy, it seems as though no-one let the cat out of the bag and, by all accounts, Trevor had been rather grumpy over the previous few days thinking there would be no celebration.
Really? Surely not......... 
To cut a long story short, Trevor, thinking he was going to a family lunch was rather taken aback to find 86 people singing "Happy Birthday" as he walked in. The look on his face was a picture. An enjoyable "Hog Roast" lunch was enjoyed by all, followed by the obligatory speech from Trevor and handbells rung by David James, Robin Churchill, David Moore and Julian Parker.
