The 2016 Inter-Branch Striking Competitions were held on a lovely summer's evening at Michaelston-y-Fedw, where the local ringers made everyone feel very welcome, as did The Cefn Mably Arms.
The Judges for the evening were our friends from Sketty, Nigel and Judith Doyle and we are very grateful for them once again doing this onerous task for us.
They adjudged the competitions as follows:

Newport 10.5 faults
St Mellons 24.75 faults
Cadoxton 28.5 faults
Caerphilly 32.5 faults
Method Ringing Section (Pitman Trophy)
Llandaff 9 faults
Rumney 13.25 faults
Newport 13.75 faults
Cadoxton 15.5 faults
Overall, an excellent evening and congratulations to Llandaff and Newport on their performances and special mentions to St Mellons and Cadoxton for their performances too. Onwards to Dolgellau.......
