#  2013 All Wales Striking Competition

 A lovely, sunny afternoon saw some good ringing for the judges, Matthew Tosh and Robert Convey, to get their teeth into.

 Speaking of which, thanks to the ringers of Sully and Penarth for hosting the day's events and for providing refreshments and tea during the day.

 After considering their verdicts, and a recount after they realised that the teams didn't ring in the same order in the 6-Bell and 8-Bell sections ![blush](http://www.llanmon.org.uk/plugins/editors/jckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/embaressed_smile.gif "blush"), the results were as follows:

 **J Arthur Hoare All Wales Striking Contest Results**  
 L&M - Llandaff & Monmouth D.A.  
 N.W. - North Wales Association  
 S&B – Swansea & Brecon Diocesan Guild  
 S.D.G. – St David’s Guild

 **6 bell section at Sully**  
 Scores are % errors  
 L&M 23% 1st  
 N.W. 26% 2nd  
 S&B 38% 3rd  
 S.D.G. 49% 4th

 **8 bell section at Penarth**  
 Scores are % errors  
 L&M 31% 1st  
 N.W. 37% 2nd  
 S&B 45% 3rd  
 S.D.G. 56% 4th

 **Aggregate Result**  
 Scores are % accuracy  
 L&M 74% 1st  
 N.W. 69% 2nd  
 S&B 59% 3rd  
 S.D.G. 47% 4th

 The result means that Llandaff & Monmouth DACBR retain the J Arthur Hoare Memorial Trophy ![smiley](http://www.llanmon.org.uk/plugins/editors/jckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.gif "smiley")
